★Personality:

Yue is very confident and tends to think that she is right and the other person is wrong. Her grades are pretty high, and she’s a good tennis player. However, all that confidence goes out the window when it comes to gardening -- basically, she sucks. A lot. She is always overwatering or underwatering the plants or accidently tripping/dropping the pots. She can be totally okay with losing a tennis match, but if she drops one pot, then she freaks out, sulking all day and mourning for the poor plant.

She used to be a crybaby, but that stressed her older brother out a lot, so now she tries her best to not cry anymore.

★Biography:

Yue’s mother was a doctor and her father was a construction worker and they were the kind of couple who still acted like they were on their honeymoon instead of being married for years (aka hug in public, write sappy poetry, use uncute pet names etc.)
Her childhood was a happy one and her brothers were there to make life unboring. Even though she was closer to her older brother, Hiroki (who was 8 years older than her), she really liked teasing her tsundere little brother Rikuto.

One day in school, the TV was suddenly turned on in her elementary school class and a reporter in front of a half-collapsed construction building was talking how an earthquake had shook the foundations and caused part of the first floor to collapse. 12 lives had been claimed. Yue grew anxious - that was the place where her father worked, and she grew scared that he was hurt.

Just then, their principal poked his head around the door and called for her in a soft voice, sadness reflected in his eyes. She got up quickly and ran to the office ahead of him and stopped short when she saw Rikuto sitting in a waiting room chair, his feet dangling, for once not having a scowl on his face. She sat by him wordlessly and grabbed his hand - and for once he didn't throw a fit about being touched.
The siblings were told that their parents had unfortunately been two of the lives claimed that day - it had been bad luck that their mother had been visiting the building that day, because if she hadn't been there, both of them would've probably survived. Basically, during the earthquake, their mother was still in the basement and their father had run inside again to try and save his wife - a suicide mission. Yue couldn't believe it - she had seen her parents, hugged them even, less than five hours ago - how could this have happened? At ten years old, Yue and her nine-year-old brother had become orphans.

The siblings were not put into an orphanage because their older brother, Hiroki, had just turned 18 a few months ago and became their legal guardian. Their parents' house and everything was taken care of by agents and a kind, family lawyer who truly felt sorry for the kids because he had been a good friend of their dad's. Following their parents deaths, Yue cried a lot and pretty much expected her older brother to solve all her problems. She wasn't a very good sister to Rikuto either - she was too caught up in her own problems.

Unfortunately, Hiroki had been born with a weak body (specifically weak lungs) and was prone to bouts of sickness. When Yue was 14, she came home one to day find her brother collapsed on the floor. He was rushed to the hospital and diagnosis with pneumonia, but it had become a bigger issue because of his weak lungs. Long story short, he didn't die and returned from the hospital a week or so later, but Yue realized that she had to be the one that picked herself up after a fall instead of always relying on Hiroki. Now, she manages a lot of the stuff around their apartment (cleaning, some bills, etc.) and is kind of "the head of the household". Hiroki is happy to take a break since he practically raised his siblings for 7 years.

★Other Info:

- After their parents died, Rikuto and Yue went to live with their older first-year-in-college brother, Hiroki. He had a two-bedroom apartment in a big city and the city was big enough and far away enough that many people didn't draw the conclusion that the Narumi couple who died was the parents of the three Narumi kids. Many details were withheld from the press on request of their older brother who thought publicity was the last thing they needed.

- They live off the money their brother makes - brother has a job as a computer technician -, the trust fund their parents set up, and money from relatives.
